Charlie Andrews

British Voiceover Artist

Native English speaker, with a naturally British RP accent.

Introducing Charlie Andrews

I'm a new voice in the industry, offering commercial, e-learning and narrative Voiceovers. My voice is often described as persuasive, trustworthy, dependable and authoritative...

...and also been described as "a bit pilot-ey". There might be a good reason for that ;)

I have a studio at home with broadcast-quality equipment, and am able to produce high-quality products very quickly, often the same day. For some examples of my home production, have a listen to the character voices in the demo section below.

For those jobs where only a full studio will do, I am only a few minutes drive from the facilities at Media City UK and Greater Manchester.

How to get in touch

The best way to contact me is by email: studio@charlievoiceover.com.

Please see the FAQs for what I need to offer you a quote.

FAQ

That depends on the type and length of script that you need recording. A simple recording of up to around 500 words can often be completed the same day, but more complicated projects will need more time. If your project is time-critical, please drop me a line via the contacts section, and I’ll be happy to discuss practicalities with you.

Pretty much anything you can imagine! By default, I will send you a 32-bit, 48kHz WAV. If you like, I can also provide MP3, AIFF, OGG. Just let me know.

No problem. Just let me know what you’d like changed, and we’ll work together on getting it just right.

For me to offer you a quote, I will need the following:

  • Your script
  • Your deadline
  • Voice style (accents, character voices, ‘tone’ of the recording)
  • Specific requirements, eg timings if you need synchronising with a video. If your script includes technical or otherwise unusual words, please include pronunciation- ideally a recording of the word being correctly spoken.
  • Intended use for the recording- broadcast or other.

When you’re happy (and only when), I’ll send an invoice with a link to my payment portal. You can pay by bank transfer, or card.

Of course, if you’re not happy with the recording, no invoice will be raised. In this (highly unlikely) event, you will not be able to use any recordings already supplied.

As is increasingly common, voiceover work isn’t my only job. I promise I’ll answer your query absolutely as soon as I can. Often that’s within a few hours, but could be the day after you send it.
